I have been seeing Dr. Rosenbaum for one year for a problem with my hands and shoulder. I had so much success with that; I had my husband go for his lower back problem. We both have been extremely happy with the success. One day I saw a small child in the office and asked his mother what he was doing there, she told me he was there for allergies. I continued to see this child along with others coming and going for months. I was astonished that someone would bring their small child in for adjustments. Our daughter had always been a healthy child until she turned 11 months old then she started having allergy problems. She was put on an allergy medicine that was given to her once every day. She was on her 3rd antibiotic by the time she was 14 months old and, always had a runny nose and congestion even with the allergy medicine. I started talking with several mothers there in the office regarding their child’s success with chiropractic care, to my surprise, they all seemed very happy. I started talking with my husband about taking our daughter for adjustments, my husband was very skeptical, but I was curious, so I again talked with Mary Helen and Laura regarding chiropractic care for children, they gave me a book to read and also told me to go on their website for more information. I read the book and started research on the internet. I was very surprise to find what all chiropractic care can do to help children as well as adults. I was excited about my findings and started sharing this information with my husband and family and friends. Our daughter was now 15 months old and was sick again. I called my husband and told him that we had to make a decision. Did we want our daughter back on antibiotics for the 4th time in 4 months or did we want to give Dr. Rosenbaum and chiropractic care a chance? We decided to make an appointment with Dr. Rosenbaum to see what he could do for her. We went that afternoon and after talking with Dr. Rosenbaum we let him adjust Jaycee. Dr. Rosenbaum made it like a game for her so she did not even cry or seem to care that he was adjusting her. We took her back 2 days later for her next adjustment and Jaycee was already doing better. Her congestion in her chest was gone and her nose was starting to clear up – WOW- we were so surprised. I took Jaycee off her allergy medicine and we have continued to take her to see Dr. Rosenbaum, she is now 17 months old and FREE OF ALLERGIES. She loves going to the chiropractor where she blows kisses at the end of every visit. We are so thankful to Dr. Rosenbaum and his wonderful staff for helping us to find a solution, for our daughter, which is drug free and allowing her body to be healthy naturally.

I began experiencing episodes of what I called a "crooked" back in my pre-teens. I could go years without an incident, but as I got a little older they became more frequent. I pursued answers from medical doctors and was told I had all kinds of different conditions, but all were basically untreatable except by narcotic pain relievers and/or muscle relaxers which only treated the symptoms, but never the underlying cause. By my late thirties, these occurrences were more and more frequent and took longer and longer to overcome to the point that it was really beginning to affect my job and my daily household responsibilities. The back pain was so intense it caused one leg to draw up shorter than the other, I could not stand up straight no matter how hard I tried., The muscles on one side of my back would overcompensate for the muscles on the other side, and my entire back would literally feel like it was on fire. Being completely still was the only way to stop the pain. I had long since given up on the medical field for help and really it just hurt too much to try to get myself to a doctor anyway. By my early forties I was facing this problem as often as once a month and it could take up to a week each time before I felt "normal" again. Out of a desperate attempt to find relief by looking for the cause, I made an appointment with Dr. Rosenbaum in 2004. He not only found the cause to my back pain but helped me change the way I was living my life and I have been a patient ever since. Now I go, not because I’m in pain, but it makes me feel better overall. I can now do things that would not even dare to do ten years ago. I can pick things up, move things and love life again! After I began seeing Dr. Rob, my youngest daughter, Hannah, had a couple of falls that affected her head and neck and while there appeared to be no real injury, I wasn’t willing to take a chance that she might someday be physically affected by an untreated childhood trauma. I didn’t want her to get like I did. So now, we are both on wellness programs and Hannah loves her visits and looks forward to going to see Dr. Rob. We love Dr. Rob and his staff as they treat us more like family than just mere patients, and I thank God for His divine intervention by sending them into our lives and us into theirs!

When we lived in Big Spring, I thought I’d show my children a trick on a trampoline. All I succeeded in doing was giving myself whiplash. I found a chiropractor there and he helped me with my neck. Shortly after that we moved to Crosby and I began going to Dr. Rosenbaum with my back. He gave me an exam and we could see why my back continued to hurt. Soon after, it was amazing, I no longer had pain with regular adjustments. Later, we had a fender bender, so I brought myself and my daughter in to make sure we were okay. Erin was okay, but I needed some adjustments from the accident. My youngest son was born breech, with his legs up by his head. When he began crawling, he bent one knee and his other leg went straight out. I thought it strange but we couldn’t get him to crawl on both knees. When he began walking he sometimes cried and pointed to his leg. When running David had a very strange running gait. I took him to two different orthopedists and no help. (It’s just as well; otherwise he would have been in a body cast.) I took him to Dr. Rob when he was about 4 and he had David run up and down the hallway. Dr. Rob could see the strange gait. After taking x-rays, Dr. Rosenbaum showed how David’s hip joint was affected from the breech delivery. I was so grateful. Adjustments began and his condition was corrected. Time passed, and my three children and myself continued to see Dr. Rosenbaum twice a month. Several months to a year later I was watching David run in the front yard. It dawned on me that he was running like his brother and sister, and every other child out there. There was no hitch in his stride…he was running normally! I was so excited I called Alan, my husband outside to see. We were so thankful for all of Dr. Rob’s help. All three of my children, Erin, 22, Philip, 20, and David, 18, have been active in sports. A friend mentioned that since my son, Philip, played football, he should go see Dr. Rosenbaum. Her husband was having residual problems with his neck from playing years ago. I was able to smile and say Philip has been seeing Dr. Rob for years, and has had adjustments to pre-empt future problems. From time to time minor aches and pains from sports activity have been addressed and my kids have always bounced back. I myself am plagued with headaches from TMJ and my neck, and get to feeling better when I’m adjusted. I recommend chiropractic care to friends when I see a need. They don’t always take my advice, but those that do are seeing relief. Try it!

Maria Wright

My name is Maria Wright, and I have been a patient of Dr. Rosenbaum`s for 13 years. I first became interested in chiropractic care after the birth of my fourth child- at the "youthful" age of 40! I was experiencing great pain in my mid-back and neck and felt I could no longer go on with that pain. I had been in a car accident several years before and had suffered whip-lash which caused the severe problems with my neck. I realized that the pain was not "going to go away" and am so thankful for the help that I have received.

When my youngest child, Joshua, was two years old, he fell from his brother`s top bunk bed. Although he appeared to be all right, he crawled around the rest of the evening saying he could not walk. The next day I took him in to see Dr. Rosenbaum, and he took x-rays and did some very thorough screening to check for injuries. It was then that Joshua began his chiropractic care and loved every minute of it. Dr. Rosenbaum was great in the way he gave him his adjustments so very appropriate for a young child. Joshua was never afraid to get an adjustment and could not wait for his turn, as Dr. Rob interacted with him in his "games". Sure does make a mom feel good when a doctor takes such pains with her child!
My daughter, Belinda, was 18 when she started getting chiropractic treatments. Pain in her lower back spread to her leg causing her extreme pain that made walking almost impossible. After evaluation by Dr. Rob, she began receiving adjustments up to four times a week until she was at a functional level. Now at the age of 31, Belinda is married and has a three-month-old baby boy. Her husband, Daniel, is also a patient of Dr. Rob`s. Belinda continues to receive treatments on a maintenance level, and as long as she does this, she feels great.
I am glad to report that all of my children (Bobby, 33; Belinda, 31; John Henry, 24; and Joshua, 15) and their spouses (my husband included) have been patients of Dr. Rob`s. Now we just need to have the grandchildren (5-yr-old Robby and 3-month-old Matthew) receive this great treatment! Whenever I hear someone complain about back problems, I am quick to share my story and tell how Dr. Rob has helped my family. Thanks Dr. Rosenbaum!!!!

Have you ever tried chiropractic care? Well it has made quite a difference for my family and me. I was in a car wreck in 1987. I had injured my neck and lower back. The hospital said I was ok, just soft tissue damage. Well, when you can’t turn your head and you drag your left foot, something is wrong. My family thought I should see a chiropractor. I was skeptical at first but I went and Wow! What an improvement. I was getting better. Over the years, I have kept a maintenance program with chiropractic care. It has made a big difference in my overall health and helps my body work better.
When I became pregnant with quadruplets I was having lower back pain from all the babies. My chiropractor gently adjusted my body. It was amazing how much relief of the lower back pain this gave me. Women who are pregnant needlessly suffer with their backs – they should all be going for chiropractic adjustments.
I started seeing Dr. Rosenbaum after moving to Texas. I had injured my back and shoulder when we moved with all the lifting and tugging. The pain was very severe. A neurologist told me I would probably have to take pain pills and anti-inflammatory medications the rest of my life. Well, this was not an acceptable answer for me. It took a while for me to find just the right chiropractor. They are not all created equal. Dr. Rosenbaum takes a thorough and systematic approach with his evaluation. The whole family was there for the exam. My husband, Patrick, was impressed by the explanation and report as to what was going on with my body; it all made sense. We decided to give Dr. Rosenbaum a try. I am happy we did.
Children can be rambunctious at times. My son, Isaac, first went to the chiropractor after falling down the stairs of a motor home. This is when I learned childhood injuries left untreated can lead to more problems that can be difficult to correct later. Isaac also has some asthma problems when he gets sick. I was surprised to find out proper alignment can affect how his lungs react and his asthma. My son, Alex, had a monkey bar accident at the park. He fell 5 feet, landing on his head and back. He hurt his spine in between his shoulders. He gets adjusted to correct his injury. Natasha fell on some steps hurting her breastbone. Guess who helped? Dr. Rosenbaum adjusted her, taking the pain away. I also have learned that chiropractic care can help with bedwetting, teeth grinding, sports injuries, playground accidents, asthma and ear infections.
We like chiropractic care because it is a non-invasive, drug free, natural way of healing the body and keeping it in top shape. Dr. Rosenbaum and his staff are absolutely wonderful. You know God works in mysterious ways. I’m sure glad he made Crosby Chiropractic a part of our lives.

Loretta Rockwell

My name is Loretta Rockwell. I have been selected to be Mom of the Month of September 2006. I am honored that I have been selected. I would like to share my story of how chiropractic care has helped my family. I started chiropractic care in August of 1999 when I injured my back, out of the blue. My husband, Kevin, had been going to Dr. Rosenbaum since April of that year. I decided I needed to have help with my back pain. My husband and I decided that the children could also benefit from chiropractic care. My daughter, Shannon, was 10 years old at the time and my son, Timothy, was 8. Timothy was active in soccer and basketball and an all American boy. I understood many athletes use Chiropractic care as a means of enhancing their performance. Timothy as having trouble with severe nose bleeds, and Dr. Rosenbaum explained how Chiropractic works with the body’s nerve system and how it was causing his nose bleeds. After several weeks of care his nose bleeds declined dramatically. Shannon has always been healthy, but Kevin and I wanted her to have the same chiropractic care we were all getting. The benefits we each experienced went far beyond not having neck and back pain. I really tthink this ounce of prevention has done wonders for my family. Shannon and Timothy are active in the Crosby High School band, and continue to see Dr. Rosenbaum twice a month. The benefits of Chiropractic care, as I see it, are: relief from pain by lower muscle and joint stiffness improve our immunity, more energy and less fatigue restores mobility by increasing your range of motion, improved athletic performance and best of all no drugs and no surgery.
In conclusion, I would like to thank Dr. Rosenbaum for his help these past seven years. The long term benefits of maintaining our spines, nerves and mobility will continue to show through the years. We plan to continue under your care for many more years.
